Welcome to Hometown Novel Nights & HNN Writers

About Hometown Novel Nights Author Programs & Events

Newnan, Georgia and the surrounding area South of Atlanta along the I-85 Corridor has a long, long history of spawning creative talent, whether artists, artisans, actors, and, of course, authors. Since its conception in the fall of 2018 with the first author programs hosted in the banquet room of Rogers Pit-Smoked BBQ, Hogansville, GA, Georgia authors have received a warm welcome at each of our events.

In June 2019, Hometown Novel Nights received an invitation from Newnan Carnegie Library on historic Newnan’s Court Square to begin a schedule of author programs in their spacious auditorium. Since then Hometown Novel Nights leadership worked with the staff at Newnan Carnegie Library to provide in-person and virtual author events as we all adapted to our nation’s health crisis. In addition to our regular author panel programs, Newnan Carnegie Library has hosted our new quarterly HNN Writers Workshops since, January 2021.
